On 24th January 2009 , on a Saturday , my family went to Malaysia to celebrate Chinese New Year at my cousin's house . We left early in the morning at 5am and arrived at Ipoh at 6pm due to massive jams in both countries . Upon arriving there tired and hungry , we immediately ate and soon after having our baths , we went straight to bed . My cousin's house is big hence , we usually go there to celebrate Chinese New Year and other big events .
The next morning , I was awoke by the smell of some sumptuous meal cooked up by my aunt . I had my breakfast before my parents and my sister . After breakfast , I followed my aunt to the salon to have my hair trimmed before CNY . It was after lunch at around 3pm when I was back home . When I reached home , I immediately had my bathe , and after it , I spent the rest of my hours in front of the computer , playing LAN with my cousins and doing my blogging . Later at 8pm , we went to other counsin's house , which was just a few blocks away from where I am staying at in Malaysia . We had our dinner there and afterwards , we played cards together . It was FUN . It has been a while since I went back to Malaysia for CNY and hence , we had not played cards together as a family for quite some time . We stayed up late . We actually had another motive for staying up late , which was to countdown to CNY . At 11.50pm , we went outside the house , prepared the firecrackers and all , and directly at 12am , according to the radio and the television , we lit the firecrackers and we celebrated CNY , 2009 . That night , was the moment I enjoyed most , with my family .
